So it all evens out in the end. Battlefield 3 campaign was horrible as a story line but provided enough awesome moments to keep the interest. I liked the story since it was a bit more fleshed out and less twitchy compared to Bad Company 2. BF4 is almost certainly a better balanced game and probably better mechanically, but the gunplay in BF3 was far more satisfying. Battlefield 3 is amazing. The co-op missions are fun, but online multiplayer is the main reason you should get Battlefield 3.
The jet mission doesn't allow you to fly the jet but has you sitting in the back, waiting for things to come to you.
I'm not sure if it was done that way for pacing, but it slows the action and doesn't offer the same thrills as other missions. There are some emotional moments in the single-player campaign that the actors portray very well. Beyond the typical "tugging at the heartstrings" scenes when a comrade dies, a few missions will make you want to slap the character on screen with the butt end of your weapon. The Frostbite 2 graphic engine works hard to display intricate details.
It casts gloomy shadows, and there are moments when every blade of grass appears to move individually. Roads, tunnels, open fields and building interiors project the appropriate feelings of openness, claustrophobia and increased tension -- and that's even before the bad guys arrive.
I do have one complaint here, as the graphic engine at times produced rain smears and mud splatters on my display during missions for no apparent reason other than to show off. I'm not talking about on a jet canopy. I'm talking about walking around when it is obvious that I'm not wearing glasses or a visor. It was rather annoying but a minor point. There was also some video lag, which I found very odd on the Xbox version. The audio would continue along nicely, but the visuals bogged down and would get out of sync for about five to 10 seconds.
Not sure if it was just a fluke with my console, but it is worth mentioning in case it happens to you. Combat, as expected, is the backbone of the game. Just two of us. No politicians, no money changing hands. Just two soldiers speaking the truth. V Osprey SP. Shoot House Cut. Or Is It Battlefield 3? Gamescom EA press briefing, featuring coop mode gameplay. Each class plays a critical role in every round of this game mode however, medic class is invaluable in all modes of Grand Operations. The same Multiplayer modes of the previous versions were included but the game featured new players battles. New online features were added to the game by the Xbox release in , such as Clan support.
The multiplayer gameplay of every Battlefield game is introduced through Conquest game mode which let you fight for controlling areas around the map. The victory is achieved by conquering the majority of the areas which in result will decrease the respawn times of the opposite team until they lose.
And BF 1 is actually the latest game, not the first.
